Nzioka Muindi is a Senior Tax Manager at BDO Kenya. He has over 9 years of experience as a tax consultant. Prior to joining BDO Kenya, he worked at various levels in Viva Africa Consulting LLP and PKF Kenya.
Nzioka has been involved in providing advice on tax legislation, principles and practice for a plethora of clients within diverse industries including fintech & tech companies, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, agriculture, engineering and energy sectors across the East Africa region. He has been involved in various projects including tax due diligence in mergers & acquisitions, group restructuring activities, management of tax audits, resolution of tax disputes, tax refunds and tax trainings. In addition, he has also contributed thought leadership articles in one of the prominent business dailies in East Africa
Nzioka serves as the Transfer Pricing Lead in BDO Kenya and across the East Africa region having been instrumental in setting up and expanding the existing transfer pricing practice across the five offices.
He is an Actuarial Science graduate and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Customs.
