EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
John Jet Tusabe is the Tax Advisory Director of BDO in Uganda. Jet is an authority in international taxation including transfer pricing and cross-border tax issues, over the years he has established a successful track record in supporting various entities in tax planning, and evolution of tax efficient models of operation including supporting companies raising capital or investors financing businesses through private equity and debt.
Jet was selected by the Capital Markets Authority as an Issuer Resource Person supporting businesses in raising patient capital. Jet worked in senior positions at Uganda Revenue Authority and KPMG before joining BDO.
Jet holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK), a Certificate in Revenue and Tax Administration from Uganda Revenue Authority, a Bachelors of Statistics degree from Makerere University and is currently a student of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level II.
