Geta Mehary Temesgen is an Audit partner at BDO in Ethiopia with over 15 years’ experience in delivering external Audit, risk management, governance, compliance (regulatory and legislative) and other advisory and assurance services for a broad range of clients in Ethiopia, including a number of clients in the Natural Resources sector, Manufacturing and construction, banking and insurance and Non-Governmental Organizations. Additionally, Geta has extensive experience in conducting due diligence engagements, review engagements and agreed upon procedures. He also provide IFRS training and Conduct First time adoption of IFRS conversion.
Geta is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Ethiopian Professional Association of Accountants & Auditors (EPAAA) and he hold a bachelors’ degree in Accounting and Finance. He is also among the shortlisted auditors to undertake audit assignments for Ethiopian Commodity Exchange listed companies
