Mary Nabaggala is a senior manager in BDO EA Uganda with over 10 years’ experience in accounting and auditing practices including inventory counts, company due diligences, financial health assessment review of organisations. Mary has been involved in numerous audit, tax and special review assignments. Prior to joining BDO in 2011, Mary worked with PKF Uganda as an audit senior, where she led various audit engagements for multinational clients.
In her role as a senior manager, Mary is involved in preparation of financial and accounting reports preparation and review; company performance evaluation (return on assets, investment yields and other measurable criteria); advising on management control processes; treasury management; assessment of adequacy of the system of internal controls, Inventory revise among others.
Mary has been involved in annual statutory and interim audits for organizations in several sectors, including Communications, Petroleum, Banking, Real Estates, Non-Governmental Organisations, Manufacturing, Trading, Construction, Health Insurance, Tourism and Hotel industry and Agriculture.
Mary is a finalist of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Certified Accountant of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
