EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Kenneth is responsible for the delivery of BDO client services in Uganda as the Managing Partner. Kenneth possess extensive experience in audits, accounting and special assignments spanning across all major industries, institutions & agencies. 

Prior to joining BDO, Kenneth was responsible for establishing the internal audit function at MTN South Sudan from June 2014 to March 2015. While at MTN South Sudan he participated in the formulation of the Operating Company (OPCO) audit plan, scope the audits, and present audit reports to the OPCO Board and MTN Group.

Earlier, Kenneth was an Audit Manager in a big four firm in Uganda. He gained substantial experience in audits of key multinationals. He was and currently is actively involved in execution of various assignments in accordance with International Standards on auditing and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).  

From September 2009 to March 2011 Kenneth worked with a big four firm in, Denver, CO USA where he gained vast experience in Audits of Information, Communication and the Entertainment industry. During his time in the USA, he was involved in key assignments and gained experience in the application of US GAAP, SEC rules, Sarbanes Oxley (Sox) Act, and evaluation of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting.

EDUCATION             

Kenneth is a qualified Certified Public Accountant with over ten (10) years’ experience in accounting, audit, taxation and business advisory in diverse industries.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration from Heriot Watt University (Scotland).
