EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Juma has a career in tax that spans over six years (6) years (2.5 years with URA and 4 years with Ernst & Young).He has been involved in various tax consulting assignments and gained extensive experience in understanding tax effects of different business transactions during his time with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA); both in direct and indirect taxes administered including individual income tax, corporation tax, value added tax, payroll taxes, non-tax revenues and customs levies.
Juma has sufficient professional experience in the application of Uganda and Tanzania tax laws as a result of his regular exposures to undertake engagements with a multitude of clients in various sectors for the respective economies in Uganda and Tanzania. He worked with Ernst & Young Uganda, Ernst & Young Tanzania. Juma also worked as an Accountant with Finance Trust Bank and Lutheran World Federation.
Juma holds Bachelor of Business Administration(Accounting) and isa member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) (ACCA)
