Semi-Senior Management Consultant (Two Positions) - UGANDA

POSITION OVERVIEW: BDO Advisory Services Limited is a leading management consulting firm that helps organizations across industries, businesses, and organizations to solve their toughest challenges and achieve their strategic goals in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

BDO is seeking a Semi-Senior Management Consultant to join our team and help our clients solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will work closely with senior consultants and clients to deliver impactful solutions, leveraging your analytical skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with senior consultants and clients to understand their business challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Support senior team members in building relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives and recommendations, using a range of methodologies and tools.
• Support the planning and execution of consulting projects, including project management, research and analysis, and report writing.
• Support the development of proposals and client deliverables.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, both in writing and through presentations, and participate in discussions with clients to ensure solutions are effectively communicated and understood.
• Continuously develop your consulting skills, knowledge, and experience through on-the-job training and development opportunities.
• Contribute to the ongoing learning and development of the team and firm.
• Collaborate with team members to develop best practices, processes, and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of consulting services.
• Create new business through sourcing for opportunities from ministries, departments, and agencies, in addition to NGOs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in management consulting or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
